As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, I’d like to express my gratitude to the many people who make our University so special. Today and every day I am thankful for:
- Our excellent faculty members, who devote themselves to creating a teaching and learning environment that is second to none. Your academic expertise and your commitment to teaching opens doors for our students in ways too numerous to count. I never forget that your work has the power to change lives.
- Our diligent staff, whose efforts keep our campus operating smoothly day after day. Whether you work with students and their families or keep our buildings and grounds in tip-top condition, you make a meaningful contribution to Cal U’s success — and I thank you.
- Our alumni, who will always be a valued part of our Cal U community. I share your enduring pride in our University’s past, and I appreciate your role in helping to shape its future. We are all Cal U for Life!
- Our community partners and University friends, whose support is invaluable to our institution. In order to operate effectively, a university must build meaningful connections with the community it serves. I value your contributions to Cal U’s progress.
- And finally, our wonderful students, who not only live, work and study together, but also celebrate the good times and support one another through difficult days. You are the reason for all we do here at Cal U, and I take great pride in both your achievements and your strength of character.
