Because of the frigid temperatures expected on Tuesday, Jan. 28, and Wednesday, Jan. 29, Cal U will add a ‘Polar Express’ shuttle to transport students, faculty and staff through Lot 4 (River Lot) and around campus on the Loop Road.
Riders may simply flag down the shuttle, which will operate between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Also, an additional Vulcan Flyer bus will be added to the transportation schedule to reduce wait times for riders during regular hours of operation.
Unless weather conditions change, the University expects to hold classes on schedule Jan. 28-29. Please dress for the weather and take all necessary precautions to stay safe during this period of extreme cold.
