The Cal U Meteorology Club kicks off the spring semester Colloquia Series at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, in Eberly Hall, Room 120.
Charles “Chuck” Doswell, will be discuss “Becoming an Atmospheric Scientist.” Doswell studies mesoscale meteorology at the University of Oklahoma. He has worked as a meteorologist for the government for more than 30 years.
He is a certified consulting meteorologist and operates C. Doswell Enterprises Inc., which provides clients with outdoor images and consulting services.
Doswell has authored many publications on mesoscale systems (sea breezes, lake effect snowstorms, etc.) and a variety of other topics. He is also an avid storm chaser.
The presentation is free and open to the public and Cal U community.
