GLOBAL WARNING art exhibition
Nov. 16-28
Vulcan Gallery, in Vulcan Hall
Submissions are due by Nov. 13 for GLOBAL WARNING, an exhibition sponsored by the Department of Art and Languages.
Artworks in all media will be accepted, including proposals for reading of poems and short theatrical performances.
Each piece should explore connections between global warming, extreme weather, habitat loss and species extinction.
Visual art (framed or matted and wired to hang) and written works should be brought to the Vulcan Gallery, on the first floor of Vulcan Hall.
Participation in the exhibition is open to students, faculty, alumni, and staff, campus-wide. Two entries per person are allowed.
Students and faculty from Advanced Drawing and Painting courses will install and curate the show, which will be on display from Nov. 16-28.
